Pathway to Divinity
Illuminating Your Journey to the Divine Within
THEME: BRING FORTH WHAT IS WITHIN YOU
“If you bring forth what is within you, what you have will save you.” — Gospel of Thomas, Saying 70
Within us are seeds of health, healing, happiness, abundance, peace, love, wisdom, transformation, and countless possibilities,
as well as their opposites. Awareness determines what we consciously choose to cultivate.
When we recognize that the seed of what we desire is already within, intention gives it direction, I AM gives it voice, and our actions begin bringing it into experience.
Today, we are invited to recognize the seeds within us, consciously nurture what we desire, and bring it forth.
THREE BIBLE VERSES WITH EXPLANATIONS
1. Luke 17:21
“The kingdom of God is within you.”
Yahshuah turns our attention inward. The Kingdom of God is not only something far away that we must wait for. Divine
possibilities are already within us. When we become aware of what is within, we can begin bringing forth peace, wisdom, love, strength, healing, and transformation into our lives.
2. Proverbs 23:7
“As a person thinks in the heart, so that person
becomes.”
What we continually hold in our minds and hearts influences the life we experience. When our awareness stays focused on the seed we desire to grow, our thoughts support it, our intentions strengthen it, and our actions begin moving toward it.
3. Mark 11:24
“Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Prayer changes when we understand that the seed of what we desire is already within us. We are no longer praying from a feeling of emptiness. We recognize
the seed, place our intention upon it, believe in its possibility, speak from that awareness, and take actions that agree with what we desire to experience.
WORDS OF WISDOM #1
There is more within you than what your present circumstances reveal. Within you are seeds of peace, health, healing, happiness, abundance, wisdom, courage, love, transformation, and possibilities you may not yet recognize.
But a seed can remain hidden for years until the right conditions awaken it.
This is why awareness is so important. Before saying I AM healthy, become conscious that the seed of health is already within you. Before saying I AM abundant, recognize the seed of abundance within.
Before declaring peace, recognize that peace is already a possibility within your consciousness.
Then set your intention upon the seed you choose to grow. Speak from that awareness. Let I AM give your intention a voice. Most importantly, allow your actions to agree with your
words.
Do not underestimate small actions. One small step toward health waters the seed of health. One peaceful response waters peace. One wise financial decision waters abundance.
You are not merely waiting for life to change around you. You are becoming
aware of what is within you and consciously choosing what you will bring forth.
WORDS OF WISDOM #2
Everything begins with awareness. A seed may already be within you, but until you recognize it, you may continue searching outside yourself for what has been waiting to be awakened within.
Think about a seed beneath the soil. Nothing on the
surface tells you what it carries. Yet within that tiny seed is the possibility of roots, branches, leaves, flowers, and fruit. Your present circumstances are like the surface of the soil. They cannot fully reveal what is possible within you.
This is why you must not allow what you see today to
decide what you believe about tomorrow.
You carry the seed of transformation. What appears to be a disappointment can become an opening. What looks like a setback can become direction. What seems empty can become the space where something
new begins.
First, become aware of the seed you desire to cultivate. Then hold your intention upon it. Allow your mind to become the container in which that desire is held with purpose. From that awareness, give it a voice through I AM.
Then move.
Take the first action, even if it seems small. If you desire health, take one action toward health. If you desire abundance, take one action toward creating value and possibility. If you desire peace, practice peace in the next moment that challenges you.
Do not judge the seed by
what you see today.
Nurture it.
Speak from it.
Move with it.
And allow what has always been within you to come forth into your experience.
SEVEN AFFIRMATIONS
1. I AM aware of the divine seeds of possibility already within me.
2. I AM consciously nurturing the seeds of health, peace, happiness, love, wisdom, and abundance within me.
3. I AM directing my intentions toward what I
desire to experience.
4. I AM bringing forth the healing power already present within me.
5. I AM activating the seed of transformation within every circumstance I face.
6. I AM taking purposeful actions that agree with the seeds I choose to
cultivate.
7. I AM bringing forth the divine possibilities within me and allowing them to become my experience.
SHORT MEDITATION
Close your eyes and become still.
Breathe in slowly.
Breathe out gently.
Bring your awareness within.
Imagine your consciousness as a beautiful garden filled with seeds of divine possibility.
Peace is there. Love is there. Health is there. Wisdom is there. Abundance is there. Healing is there. Transformation is there.
Choose one seed that represents what you desire to experience.
Become aware that it is already within you.
Hold it gently in your mind.
Place your intention upon it.
Silently say:
The seed is within me.
I AM aware of it.
I AM nurturing it.
I AM bringing it forth.
Now see yourself taking one simple action that agrees with your intention.
Breathe deeply once more.
Feel gratitude for what is already within you.
And when you are ready, gently open your eyes, carrying that awareness with you.
WORDS OF BLESSINGS
May your awareness awaken today to the divine seeds already within you.
May you recognize peace where you once saw confusion, possibility where you once saw limitation, healing where you once saw pain, and transformation where you
once saw an ending.
May your intentions become clear, your words become purposeful, and your actions come into agreement with what you desire to bring forth.
May you never judge your possibilities by your present circumstances.
May every small step you
take water the seeds you have consciously chosen to nurture.
May I AM rise from within you with confidence, not as empty words, but as the voice of an awakened consciousness that knows what it carries.
May you walk forward knowing that what you seek
is not always somewhere beyond you. The seed is already within.
May you recognize it, nurture it, act upon it, and experience its fruit.
And may what you bring forth become a blessing not only to you, but to everyone whose life your light touches.
It Is Done and So It Shall Be.
WORDS OF WISDOM EXPANDED
“If you bring forth what is within you, what you have will save you.” — Gospel of Thomas, Saying 70
There is something extraordinary hidden inside these words.
They do not tell us to go somewhere far away. They
do not tell us to wait until something outside of us changes. They turn our attention inward and ask us to recognize what we already carry.
Within you are seeds.
The seed of peace is within you.
The seed of love is within you.
The seed of health is within you.
The seed of healing is within you.
The seed of happiness is within you.
The seed of abundance is within you.
The seed of wisdom is within you.
The seed of courage is
within you.
The seed of creativity is within you.
The seed of transformation is within you.
And there are countless other seeds waiting within consciousness.
But we must also understand something important. We carry seeds
of their opposites as well. Fear can be cultivated. Anger can be cultivated. Resentment can be cultivated. Scarcity can be cultivated. Doubt can be cultivated.
This is why awareness is so important.
THE SEED IS ALREADY THERE
Imagine holding an apple seed in your hand.
You cannot see an apple tree.
You cannot see branches.
You cannot see leaves.
You cannot see hundreds of apples.
Yet somehow the possibility of all of them is contained within that tiny
seed.
If you judged the seed only by what your eyes could see, you might believe there was almost nothing there.
But you know better.
You understand that what is visible does not reveal everything that is possible.
The same principle can be applied to your life.
Your present circumstances cannot show you everything that exists within you.
Your bank account cannot reveal every possibility of abundance within you.
A difficult season cannot reveal the full measure of your happiness.
A moment of fear cannot
reveal the courage you carry.
A disappointment cannot reveal every possibility waiting beyond it.
And today’s physical condition does not define every possibility available through responsible care, healthier choices, treatment, rest, movement,
nutrition, and the body’s remarkable capacity for change.
There is more within you than the present moment can reveal.
AWARENESS COMES FIRST
This is where our spiritual work begins.
Awareness.
Before the declaration,
there must be awareness.
Before the words I AM healthy, consciousness first recognizes the seed of health within.
Before I AM abundant, consciousness recognizes the seed of abundance.
Before I AM peaceful, consciousness recognizes peace as something
already available within.
Otherwise, affirmations can become words that the mouth repeats while consciousness quietly rejects them.
We are not trying to convince ourselves of something through endless repetition.
We are awakening to
something.
There is a difference.
When awareness recognizes the seed, the words that follow are no longer begging for something to become possible. They become expressions of what consciousness has accepted as possible.
That changes the declaration.
I AM healthy.
I AM peaceful.
I AM abundant.
I AM wise.
I AM courageous.
I AM love.
Now the words have roots.
THE MIND BECOMES THE CONTAINER
Think of your mind as a container.
Into this container you consciously place the desire you have chosen to cultivate.
Perhaps your desire is greater health.
Perhaps it is financial abundance.
Perhaps it is peace within
your family.
Perhaps it is a new opportunity.
Perhaps it is healing from something that has remained painful for years.
Perhaps it is transformation in an area of life that presently seems impossible to change.
You place the desire within
consciousness.
Then you become aware that its seed already exists within you.
And now intention enters.
Intention says:
This is what I choose to cultivate.
The mind holds the desire.
Awareness recognizes the seed.
Intention gives it direction.
Then I AM gives it voice.
I AM
These two words deserve our attention.
When we say I AM, we are identifying ourselves with what follows.
That is why we should become conscious of what we attach to these words.
If we constantly declare limitation, limitation becomes increasingly familiar to consciousness.
If we constantly identify ourselves with fear, failure, hopelessness, or powerlessness, we may begin acting from those identities without even realizing it.
But when awareness awakens to the seed we desire to cultivate, I AM becomes a conscious declaration.
Not fantasy.
Not denial.
Not an escape from responsibility.
A declaration of direction.
I AM peaceful means I
recognize the seed of peace within me and choose to cultivate it.
I AM abundant means I recognize the seed of abundance and choose to think, create, learn, give value, recognize opportunity, and move in its direction.
I AM healthy means I
recognize the seed of health and choose actions that support health.
The words and the actions begin agreeing with each other.
THE SEED OF TRANSFORMATION
Among all the seeds within us is one that deserves special attention.
Transformation.
Transformation means that what stands before you does not have to remain what it appears to be right now.
This is important because human beings often become prisoners of appearances.
We see a closed door and
immediately call it failure.
We experience a delay and call it rejection.
We lose something and call it the end.
We encounter difficulty and decide that something has gone wrong.
But awareness allows another possibility.
What if the situation can be
transformed?
What if the disappointment contains direction?
What if the closed door turns your attention toward another door?
What if the setback awakens an ability that comfort never required you to develop?
What if the empty space
becomes room for something new?
Transformation does not require us to pretend that painful things are pleasant.
It means we refuse to give the present appearance final authority over what can come next.
That is very different.
You can acknowledge
disappointment without becoming disappointment.
You can experience loss without allowing loss to become your identity.
You can encounter a closed door without concluding that every door is closed.
You can experience something unexpected and still ask:
What seed can I bring forth here?
Perhaps wisdom.
Perhaps patience.
Perhaps courage.
Perhaps creativity.
Perhaps forgiveness.
Perhaps a new direction.
Perhaps transformation itself.
DO NOT IMPRISON THE
OUTCOME
Sometimes we make another mistake.
We decide exactly where the answer must come from.
If someone disappoints us, we believe that person must become the source of the correction.
If one opportunity
disappears, we believe that exact opportunity must return.
If one door closes, we stand in front of it knocking endlessly because we have decided that our blessing must come through that door.
But why?
The seed within you is not
limited to one external channel.
Life contains possibilities you cannot presently see.
Your responsibility is not to control every path through which your desire can arrive.
Your responsibility is to remain conscious of the seed you have chosen to cultivate and to keep
moving in agreement with it.
Sometimes transformation means the old situation changes.
Sometimes transformation means you change.
Sometimes another possibility appears.
Sometimes you discover that what you were pursuing was smaller than
what became available after you released it.
Remain open.
ACTION WATERS THE SEED
A seed needs more than recognition.
You can hold a seed in your hand for twenty years and never receive fruit from it.
At some point, it must be planted.
Then watered.
Then cared for.
This is where action enters spiritual practice.
If your intention is health, what action agrees with health today?
It might be drinking more water.
Taking a walk.
Choosing nourishing food.
Getting proper rest.
Following appropriate medical guidance.
Making the appointment you have been postponing.
Beginning with five minutes of movement.
Small does not mean meaningless.
A tiny action can be evidence that
consciousness and behavior are beginning to agree.
If your intention is abundance, perhaps today’s action is learning something.
Making a phone call.
Sending a proposal.
Saving a small amount.
Creating something useful.
Improving your skill.
Looking for an opportunity you previously ignored.
If your intention is peace, perhaps the action is pausing before responding.
Perhaps it is refusing to carry yesterday’s argument into today.
Perhaps it is listening.
Perhaps it is forgiving.
Perhaps it is setting a healthy boundary without hatred.
Every corresponding action waters the seed.
DO NOT DESPISE SMALL BEGINNINGS
One of the greatest enemies of transformation is our obsession with immediate results.
We want the tree today.
Life often gives us the seed.
We want complete healing.
The first step may simply be making one healthier choice.
We want financial transformation.
The first step may be learning one new skill.
We want peace.
The first step may be changing one response.
We want confidence.
The first step may be doing one thing we have been afraid to attempt.
Do not insult the beginning because it is small.
A seed is small.
Yet forests begin with seeds.
Every great transformation contains moments that appeared insignificant when they happened.
The first conversation.
The first decision.
The first dollar saved.
The first page written.
The first walk.
The first application.
The first boundary.
The first prayer spoken from awareness rather than fear.
The first time you consciously choose a different seed.
Small actions become powerful when they are repeated with intention.
WHICH SEED ARE YOU WATERING?
Because we carry many possibilities within, awareness must also observe what we are cultivating unconsciously.
You may desire peace while continually feeding anger.
You may desire abundance while constantly speaking scarcity.
You may desire confidence
while repeatedly rehearsing every past failure.
You may desire a new beginning while giving all your attention to what ended.
This does not mean you should suppress emotions.
Feel what needs to be felt.
Acknowledge what happened.
Learn from it.
But then become conscious of what you continue to water.
Every thought does not become reality simply because it passed through your mind. Human beings have thousands of thoughts, fears, memories, and reactions.
The deeper question is:
What am I repeatedly feeding with my attention, intention, words, choices, and actions?
That is where awareness becomes spiritual freedom.
You begin noticing.
And because you notice, you can choose.
PRAYER FROM
AWARENESS
Prayer changes when awareness changes.
Instead of approaching prayer only from the consciousness of absence, we begin with recognition.
The seed is already within.
If I desire peace, I become aware of peace within.
If I desire wisdom, I
become aware that wisdom can be awakened within.
If I desire courage, I recognize that courage exists within even while fear may also be present.
Then prayer becomes alignment.
Desire is placed within the container of the mind.
Intention holds it.
Awareness recognizes the seed.
I AM gives it voice.
Action begins expressing it.
Prayer is no longer separated from life.
Your choices become part of your prayer.
Your habits become part of your prayer.
Your actions become part
of your prayer.
Your willingness to move becomes part of your prayer.
You pray for the seed, and then you water it.
WHEN THE OPPOSITE APPEARS
There will be moments when the external world seems to show you exactly
the opposite of what you have chosen.
You choose peace and conflict appears.
You choose abundance and an unexpected expense arrives.
You choose confidence and suddenly face something intimidating.
You choose transformation
and everything appears unchanged.
What then?
Return to awareness.
The appearance does not erase the seed.
Winter does not prove that spring has ceased to exist.
Night does not destroy the sun.
The absence of visible fruit
does not mean the seed contains no life.
Continue nurturing what you have consciously chosen while remaining wise enough to adjust your actions when necessary.
Faith does not mean refusing to learn.
Intention does not mean refusing to change
direction.
Confidence does not mean ignoring reality.
You can look directly at what is happening and still refuse to believe that what you see is the total measure of what is possible.
BRING IT FORTH
Now we return to Saying 70.
“If you bring forth what is within you, what you have will save you.”
Notice the movement.
Bring forth.
Something within must become expressed.
Awareness alone is the beginning.
Intention alone is not enough.
Words alone are not enough.
Action alone without consciousness can become directionless effort.
But when they begin working together, something changes.
You recognize the seed.
You choose it.
You hold your intention
upon it.
You speak from it.
You act toward it.
You continue nurturing it.
And gradually, what was invisible begins becoming visible.
What was potential begins becoming expression.
What was internal begins influencing how you live
externally.
This is the invitation before us today.
Become conscious of your inner garden.
Do not allow circumstances alone to decide what grows there.
Do not allow yesterday to choose today’s seed.
Do not allow fear to
become the gardener of your consciousness.
Look within.
What do you desire to experience?
Peace?
Health?
Healing?
Happiness?
Abundance?
Love?
Wisdom?
Courage?
Purpose?
Transformation?
Recognize its seed.
Become aware of it.
Hold it within your consciousness.
Set your intention upon it.
Then let your words arise from awareness.
I AM.
And after you speak, move.
Take one step.
Then another.
Water the seed through your choices.
Nurture it through persistence.
Protect it through awareness.
And when circumstances
appear contrary, remember that appearances do not contain the complete story of what is possible.
There is more within you.
Much more.
The seed is there.
Become aware of it.
Choose it consciously.
Bring it forth.
And let your life become
the garden where the invisible possibilities within you are given the opportunity to become visible.
